A hillside mid-century ranch was already gutted and underway – with little direction – when we became involved. In order to reveal the dramatic landscape and expansive views of the lake below, walls and the low ceiling were removed, new windows and doors were installed, and a 2-level deck was added, creating an expansive shared-space (with only a small addition of square footage), creating a haven for guests of the main residence next door.
